The Technology Department is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Morrison Community District School's classroom technology integration, computer systems and networks, including hardware, system software, application software and commercial software packages. 

Our director provides leadership, consultation, and technical assistance to our schools in the effective uses of educational technology to improve student learning and motivation.  We also provide assistance to the  school division in the implementation of Computer/Technology Standards for Students and the Technology Standards for Instructional Personnel; provide training in the utilization and infusion of educational technology in K-12 classrooms; research and identify best practices of technology training and infusion; share in the development, implementation and revision of the district technology plan; and serve as Web Master for the district.

As Director of Technology, it is my responsibility to manage the district technology program.  I assist teachers, administrators, community members, and our technology staff with their technology integration and implementation and provide opportunities for professional and personal technology growth.  I personally enjoy giving workshops and conference presentations on effective technology practices.  

I am a graduate of  the University of Northern Iowa with a BS in  Industrial Technology and did my graduate work at the University of Western Illinois in Instructional technology and telecommunications. I have been with the Morrison District since 2001.
