Just a reminder that the MCUSD 6 Caring Closet is gathering information to distribute grocery boxes to district families that are in need. If you have a student in the district, and are in need of a grocery box, please fill out the Google form at the link below by Sunday, September 27, so that the Caring Closet volunteers can purchase the correct amount of items. The MCUSD 6 Caring Closet is working on creating grocery boxes for students who are in need. All grocery boxes will contain similar food items, both perishable and non-perishable. Once need is determined, items purchased, and boxes created, pick-up dates, times, and location will be communicated. 2019-2020 MHS Yearbooks are in. Make arrangements to pick them up in the high school art room after students have been dismissed at 1:05.

The Cross Country Meet rescheduled for today at Rock Falls has been cancelled due to weather conditions. Currently we have not confirmed another make-up date.

Just a few friendly reminders as we move into our 3rd week of hybrid learning.
(1) Students being sent home for COVID like symptoms (fever, headache, shortness of breath, cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain) will result in all members of the household being sent home for precautionary purposes. This would also include if you are calling a student off in the morning. These are the guidelines established by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
(2) Dismissal will continue to be at 1:05 daily until September 25th.

MHS schedule for 9/7-9/11. Mon.-No school. Tues. A day in person. Wed. B day in person. Thurs. A day in person. Fri. B day in person. Students should be checking in with their classes during remote days. 1:05 dismssal bell schedule is in effect this week.

The Northside Blood Drive will be Monday, September 14, and Tuesday, September 15, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Donations will be done on the MVRBC bus. To schedule an appointment email Denise Batterton at denise.batterton@morrisonschools.org. All donors will earn a gift card or t-shirt. **Appointments and masks are required.
MJHS will be open from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, September 8 for REMOTE students only to get their school picture done. Forms will be available here at the school during that time as well to order the picture, it will be $5.00 only.
