Parents of Kindergarten students for the 25-26 school year: There is an informational meeting for parents tonight, March 18, at 6:00 PM in the Northside cafeteria. Please bring any completed forms you have for your students as well as any questions you have. See you then!

As many of you have probably heard, Dylan Wescott, son of Southside teacher Nicol Wescott, had an accident this past weekend at a track meet. Dylan and the Wescott family are facing a potentially long road to recovery. Anyone wanting to make a donation to help their family with expenses can send it with their child in a marked envelope to any of the four schools, or drop off donations at Southside School in the main office between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. If you have any questions feel free to contact building principal Matt McCormick at matthew.mccormick@morrisonschools.org or at 815-772-2183. Thank you all for any support you can provide. Please keep the Wescott family in your thoughts and prayers.

Today is the Scratch Cupcake delivery. Pick up is 3:00 – 6:00 PM at the Northside cafeteria. All items must be picked up today. Thank you!

Kennedy Smith (3rd Grade) and her friend Jersey Wolf competed in a 2ball shoot-out. The girls were given 1 ball and 60 seconds to alternate shots. The court had specific spots marked that they could shoot from, all worth different points. All of the YMCAs in Illinois took the scores from this contest and the 2 highest scoring teams at each age level were invited to compete at the IHSA Girls Basketball Championship game. Kennedy and Jersey competed during halftime of the 2A game and WON!!!! The girls won a medal and a basketball along with free entry to all 4 games that day. Congratulations Kennedy and Jersey!!!
