Students in Morrison High School’s Driver Education classes learned about the importance of automobile insurance and safe driving during a presentation from Country Financial representatives Michael Briscoe and Christina Wetzell on Monday, Feb. 27. Mrs. Wetzell, who oversees safety education and marketing for the Michael Briscoe Agency, shared a heartfelt reflection on the tragic 2019 crash that claimed the life of her 19-year-old daughter, Julia. Mr. Briscoe discussed insurance terminology for consumers, and he walked students through an activity to calculate how much liability insurance a particular driver needs based on his or her assets and earning potential. Thank you, Mr. Briscoe and Mrs. Wetzell, for sharing your insurance knowledge with students!
