Need somewhere for your kids to go while you're at parent teacher conferences? If so, you can bring them to MJHS today. We have staff and students who are donating their time to watch your younger ones so you can attend conferences. They will be located in the gym at MJHS. There will be movies and games for them to play.
Just a friendly reminder that due to Parent Teacher conferences tomorrow's dismissal times will be Northside at 11:20 am and the rest of the buildings at 11:30 am.

Thursday Night are Parent Teacher Conferences and make sure you stop by the food trucks at the high school from 4-7pm! We will have Sweet Butts Cotton Candy, Kelley Girls Woodfire Pizza -they will have their Dill Pickle Ranch pizza on special for $12 along with their other other pizza options, Main Squeeze Lemonade, B & T Smokin BBQ. Unfortunately the pretzel truck has had to cancel due to mechanical issues. We hope to see you there!

Morrison High School’s Scholastic Bowl team competed in a taping of Bergstrom’s Stateline Quiz Bowl on Sunday, October 29 at the Nordlof Center in downtown Rockford. The episode will be broadcast on WTVO-TV in Rockford the weekend of January 20-21, 2024, and the match will be posted on YouTube, as well. Northside will celebrate Halloween tomorrow (Tuesday, October 31). The parade will be on the playground at 1:30pm. Please have your child bring their costumes! Dress warm!
The round 2 football playoff game will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at Kewanee Wethersfield. Tickets are $6.00 and the gates will open at 11:30 am.

Saturday's playoff football game will be streamed on the NFHS Network. As a reminder gates will open at noon with early sales of tickets starting at 11:30 am. Ticket prices are the same for everyone $5.00 and students will need to purchase tickets since it is an IHSA event.
MJHS will be holding their Scholastic Book Fair next week during parent/teacher conferences. The fair will be open to the public on Thursday, November 2 from 1:00-7:00 PM, and again on Friday, November 3 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Stop by, buy a book, and support the library!

Ticket prices for Saturday's IHSA football playoff game are set by the IHSA. This weeks price is $5.00 per person. The IHSA does not have a student or senior discount. Conference passes will not be accepted. Also for the playoffs Morrison students will need to purchase a ticket on game day. The gates will open at noon with tickets sales starting at 11:30am.
