Southside will be having the Halloween parade open to parents this year on Oct 31 at 2:30. The students will walk out of the 5th grade doors in the back and walk toward the 3rd grade doors. Parents can line up on the blacktop to see the parade. Rules for students: No face coverings, no accessories, no make-up, and no blow up costumes. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the Southside office.
Another good weekend for the High School Cross Country team. Emma Christin was the Conference Champion for the girls division and won the MVP for the meet. Isaiah McDearmon finished in 7th place earning All Conference honors.

Southside had a cow visit for 5th grade Science. Thanks to Mrs Darsidan for putting this all together! The 5th grade students adopted a virtual cow. It's a girl!!!

The City of Morrison and the Morrison High School Key Club are pleased to announce that the next Golden Agers Bingo Night for residents 55 and older will be held in the Morrison High School Cafeteria on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. Parking is available in the rear parking lot (near the pool ramp) as well as on Academic Drive and in the diagonal spaces on Genesee Avenue. The event will return to the Odell Public Library in November.

I was just informed that tonight's varsity high school volleyball game at Newman will start at 6:00 pm instead of 7:00 pm.
