Thank you to all of the community members who turned out for the Key Club/Kiwanis Club Sandwich Sales event at Rt. 30 and Cherry Street on Saturday, July 9. We hope that the ribeye sandwiches, pork chop sandwiches, hot dogs, and brats proved enjoyable! A special thanks to Morrison Kiwanis President Steve Davis and the Kiwanis members for all of the behind-the-scenes work to make the event a success.

The next Sandwich Sales event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 6 at Rt. 30 and Cherry Street from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Online registration for returning students for the 2022-2023 school year begins on Monday, July 11th. Parents/Guardians can login to their Skyward Family Access account to complete the required information and/or print any forms that will need to be filled out and turned into the District. Anyone without internet access or with students new to the district may register at the District Office, located at 100 East Knox Street from 7:30AM to 3:00PM, Monday through Friday. Any fees owed can be paid through the payment portal via Skyward, as well as in person or over the phone at the District Office (815-772-2064).

Andy Austin (MHS class of 1977) stopped by to donate a reconditioned framed and matted picture of the Morrison High School football team, roster, and a news article from 1915. Andy’s grandfather (Clarence) was a member of the team. The picture has been added to the trophy case outside of the gymnasium. Thank you Mr. Austin!
Morrison High School summer school will be in session on Fridays through June 30th.
The Whiteside County Health Department will be conducting sport and school physicals at Morrison High School July 19th-20th. Appointments should be made through the WCHD. See the attached forms for more information.
Morrison High School’s Key Club volunteers assisted Morrison Kiwanis members during the first Kiwanis Sandwich Sales event of the season on Saturday, May 28. Kiwanis members prepared ribeye sandwiches, pork chops, brats, and hot dogs on a gas grill at Rt. 30 and Cherry Street, and Key Club students and Kiwanis members made and served the sandwiches, along with snacks and soft drinks.
Those who did not purchase a sandwich on May 28 are in luck—Key Club and Kiwanis will be back in action for more sandwich sales at Rt. 30 and Cherry Street on Saturday, June 18.

The High School Boys Track 4x400 relay made it to the state finals on Saturday. They ran a 3:26 and have the third fastest time entering Saturday's race. The 4x400 is scheduled for approximately a 4:20 pm start time. Awesome job gentlemen!! Keep it going.
There has been a weather delay at the stat track meet. Running will resume around 3:00 pm . The 4x400 relay team should run around 3:25 this afternoon.
The High School Boys 4x100 relay team ran a season best 43.98 in today's prelim round. They finished 10th in the event. Only the top 9 teams move on to Saturday's finals. We have our fingers crossed for the 4x400 later this afternoon!!!
