E-P has had to pause their Girls Basketball team for the next two week's. Tonight's game at Erie has been postponed. As soon as we have a make up date set the information will be passed along.
The High School Girls Basketball team will be playing E-P this evening at Erie High School. The F/S tip off will be at 5:30 pm.
The High School Girls Basketball game scheduled for 11:30 this morning at the Warkins Tournament in Erie has been cancelled. Orion can not play today's game. As of right now the 5:30 pm game against B.V. is still going to be played as scheduled.
Through the power of technology, the 8th grade career exploration classes had the opportunity to end their semester with a video call with a software engineer from Google. Students enjoyed the opportunity to learn about careers in the computer science field.
If you have arranged to pick up a retired baseball jersey from Morrison High School and want it before Christmas please try to get to the school today as the office is closed next week. All requested jerseys are in the office with your name on them.

Thirty, 7lb black forest nugget hams were recently donated to MJHS for families for the holidays. If you or someone you know could use one for the holidays please contact the junior high at 815-772-7264 to reserve one. They can be picked up today and tomorrow until 4:00PM and Friday until 2:00PM.
Tonight's High School girls basketball game at Fulton will be Varsity only starting at 5:30 pm. We had scheduled a 5th quarter for the freshman to follow the varsity game however Fulton no longer has enough players to play the 5th quarter.

The High School wrestling meet at Newman on Thursday has been adjusted. We will be wrestling Orion and Newman as Polo has had to shut down their wrestling team for two weeks. Also Newman has adjusted the start time to 5:00 pm. We will now wrestle Polo on Wednesday January 26th at Polo.
Officer Dan Simmons, School Resource Officer for the Morrison schools, spent some time on the Driver Ed beat on Friday, Dec. 10 during a visit to Morrison High School’s Per. 1 & 2 Driver Education classes. Officer Simmons discussed relevant laws for teens; identified high-risk intersections in the Morrison area; offered winter driving advice; provided guidance regarding traffic stops; fielded questions from students; and encouraged students to become safe, responsible drivers.
Miss Bennett’s 2nd grade class just finished a math unit over place value. To review, we had a Place Value Party! We popped balloons that had practice problems inside each of them, wore party hats, and even celebrated with cookies!
