Northside Accelerated Math students are participating in STEAM activities this month. Kindergarten is exploring concepts about the sun this week and made sun art on cyanotype paper. Second grade students are exploring ecosystems and made terrariums which they will observe throughout the month.

Morrison High School is pleased to welcome parents, guardians, relatives, friends, and community members to this year’s Grand March at Morrison High School on Saturday, April 27 at 3:30 p.m. Students (in couple format and small-group format) will cross the auditorium's stage and will have a chance to pose for photos on stage after they are announced by Mr. Andy Harridge, principal of Northside Elementary.
Doors to Morrison High School will open at 2:30 p.m. Aside from a few reserved seats at the front of the auditorium for our photographer, guests will be able to sit where they wish.
The Junior Prince (Blake Huizenga) and Junior Princess (Camryn Veltrop) and the Senior Court will be introduced during the event. The much-anticipated coronation of the Prom King and Prom Queen will take place at the end of Grand March, as well.

Due to the weather the boys high school track team will not be attending the meet in Oregon this evening.
Tonight's softball and baseball games have been cancelled due to the weather. Hall's fields are also unplayable this evening.

For those planning on attending the Board meeting this evening please be aware that due to construction at the Farm Bureau Building there is decreased parking in the lot. You may park behind the building if needed. Also Open Session is schedule to begin at 7:00 pm not 6:30 tonight.
Morrison High School’s Scholastic Bowl team would like to thank the members of Dunlap Masonic Lodge #321 for welcoming the team to the Lodge on Sunday, April 14 for the team’s annual pizza dinner and awards banquet. Team members and their families enjoyed pizza, pop, and cheesecake during the event. Later in the evening, attendees received certificates to recognize their contributions to the team’s 45-20 overall record during the past season.
The City of Morrison and the Morrison High School Key Club are pleased to announce that the next Golden Agers Bingo Night for residents 55 and older will be held at the Odell Public Library on Thursday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m.
Twenty-two participants attended the Golden Agers Bingo event on Thursday, April 11 at the Odell Public Library. Morrison's Key Club volunteers consisted of Sarah Weston, Jeramiah Callan, Yuki Perez, Serenity Guerrero, Rachael Taylor, and Elise Richards.
Key Club Lt. Gov. for Division 13, Eleanor Bertelsen, was kind enough to travel from Geneseo to participate in the event and to serve as an honorary bingo caller.
The Key Club also would like to recognize Nathan Jacobs, Recreational Services Director for the City of Morrison, for his work purchasing prizes and publicizing the Bingo Night events.
