Today's junior high track meet has been canceled. There will not be practice.
Saturday's high school baseball games at Polo have been cancelled. Polo needed to make up a conference game.
Tonight's high school softball and baseball games with Mon-Rose have been cancelled. The make up dates are softball Tuesday 4-23 and baseball Wednesday 4-24. Both games will be Varsity only.
PSAT 9 Test Day - Friday, April 19 - MHS Freshman
All Freshmen at Morrison High School will take the PSAT 9 on Friday, April 19. All Freshmen need to arrive at MHS by 8 am for PSAT 9 Testing. The bus will leave MHS around 8:10 for MIT. Testing will begin at 8:30. Chromebooks must be fully charged, and students must bring their charging cord for the 2+ hours of testing. Students must leave cell phones in their vehicles or lockers during testing. Cell phone use is prohibited during the entirety of PSAT 9 Testing. Students who do not comply with the cell phone policy will invalidate their testing and must retest on a separate date.
Good Items to Bring to the PSAT 9
Pencils (for math scrap work)
Calculator (all students are allowed a physical calc)
Students will be broken into 2 main groups for testing
Group 1 (Boys) will enter the Tech Center at the main administrative entrance, flanked by white pillars. Mr. Connelly will meet this group as they arrive and direct them to their testing room.
Group 1 will be Freshman boys, testing in Room 215 of the Tech Center w/Ms. Streets
The second group will enter the Rambo Center through the North entrance that faces the large student parking area. Jodie with the Admissions Office is inside the door and will direct the groups to their assigned classroom. Additionally, there is signage that designates where rooms are located.
Group 2 will be Freshman girls, testing in Room 125 of the Rambo Center w/Mr. Mills
Mr. McCormick will be going on Honor Flight on Tuesday and the students of Southside made letters and cards to show support for the veterans. The students made over 315 cards that will go to the veterans during mail call on the flight. Thank you Southsiders!!!

Congratulations to our 4 bowlers that competed in the IESA State Bowling Sectionals on Saturday at Plum Hollow in Dixon. IL. From left to right are Colton Kuehl, Garistan Grzegorek, Bryar Kuehl, and Ethan Bush. Garistan and Bryar both qualified for the IESA State Meet this weekend in Joliet. Great job and good luck!
