High School Students: Sauk Valley Community College will be here for a visit in the cafeteria on February 21st during lunch periods

Due to poor road conditions for early tomorrow morning MCUD #6 will have a two hour delayed start tomorrow, Friday February 17, 2023. There will be NO morning PreK or WACC.
Given the forecasted snowfall and strong winds forecasted for the morning and through the day MCUD #6 will be closed on Thursday February 16, 2023. A make up date will be announced at a later date.
Junior and Sophomores parents! Your students have their forms for next year's courses. The WACC form is due this Friday, Feb. 17, 2023. If you have any questions, please let Ms. Streets know.

Congratulations to the Fillies varsity basketball team on its win over LeWin last night. They will play in the Regional Championship on Friday 2-17 at 7:00 pm. Gates will open at 6:00 pm. Good Luck ladies!!
The varsity boys basketball team will play in the IHSA quarterfinal game against East Dubuque Saturday 2-18 at 3:30 pm. The game will be hosted by East Dubuque.
The Varsity girls basketball team will play in the Regional Semi-Final game at Pearl City tomorrow evening. Tip-off against LeWin is set for 7:00 pm. Good Luck Fillies!!!
All students that were involved in this morning's bus incident have arrived safely at school. Thank you to the Whiteside County Sheriff's Department, Morrison Police Department, CGH, and Morrison Community Hospital for helping to ensure the safety of our students.
MHS will be hosting Landon Ballard (https://www.mwah.net/landonballard) on Thursday, Feb 16th. Landon was a member of the MWAH group that presented here years ago. He will be telling his story of substance abuse, recovery, and mental health awareness to the students and staff. We will run our assembly bell schedule which extends 7th period until 3:05. Seniors, you should make plans in advance to stay for the entire day on Thursday, Feb. 16th.

Saturday 2-11 the varsity girls basketball team will play Milledgeville at 5:00 pm in Morrison for the IHSA Quarterfinal basketball Regional. With Saturday being an IHSA game the ticket prices are set by the IHSA. The price of admission is $5.00 per person. This does include Morrison students. Everyone besides babies will have to purchase a ticket for the game. The ticket booth will open at 4:00 pm Saturday.

Reminder that tonight is Senior Night for the girls basketball team. Tipoff for the F/S game will be 5:30 pm and introductions will be between games.
A quick reminder that Wednesday, February 8th is now a full day of school; we will not be dismissing at 1:05.
The Varsity girls basketball team will be hosting a Regional play in game on Saturday 2-11-23. Tipoff is set for 5:00 pm against Milledgeville. The winner of the game advances to the Pearl City Regional and will Play Lewin. The Semifinal game is set for 7:00 pm in Pearl City.
Due to the dangerously low predicted temperatures early tomorrow morning, the Morrison School district will have a 2 hour delayed start Friday February 3, 2003. Vocational students will not attend WACC nor will there be a morning PreK program. Afternoon PreK WILL meet at the regular time.
